Wish Kid gets a once-in-a-lifetime experience with NBC’s Hit Show “The Voice”

Wish Kid Gabriella meets Alicia Keys on NBC's The VoiceHoliday, FL.: Star Wishes for Children partnered with NBC’s hit TV show, The Voice, to grant a Wish Kid’s dream of attending a live recording of the singing competition show.

Wish Kid Gabriella “Bella” Bruggemann who was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, biliary atresia, was invited to The Voice performance finale night on Monday. While at the show, Gabriella met host Carson Daly and star coaches, Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine as part of her forever wish granted by Star Wishes for Children. Bella was treated like a VIP while on the set of The Voice. She spent one-on-one time and took photos with the celebrity coaches, received hugs from Alicia Keys, and was a “coach” herself for a few minutes as she sat in one of the coaches’ famous big red chairs.

Bella spent some great one-on-one personal time with coach Alicia Keys, taking several once-in-a-lifetime photos with the star.

“We are so thankful to the people who help us create great memories for our Wish Kids. The Voice donating their time and resources says so much about their kindness and understanding of what giving hope to these children means,” said Anna Lanzatella, executive director for the children’s charity. “What a special wish for a special girl!”

During her wish, Bella and her family stayed at the Hilton Los Angeles Universal City and were chauffeured around Hollywood in their very own private limo, compliments of Black Car LA. In addition to attending The Voice and meeting the coaches, Bella was also treated to several activities including a day at Universal Studios Hollywood, Madame Tussauds, Hollywood Wax Museum, and the Guinness World Record Museum. The family was also provided wonderful dinners courtesy of historic Mel’s Drive-In and world famous Hard Rock Café, Los Angeles.

The Voice joins a long list of celebrity organizations that have supported Star Wishes for Children in making come true the heartfelt wishes of children facing life-threatening illnesses.
